Ordering Information:
Riverdale Nursery LLC is a wholesale nursery selling to trade only. This means nurseries, garden centers, landscapers, landscape contractors, architects and designers. Please provide a copy of your business license with your first purchase for our records.
Plant Availability
As a catalog we create a yearly master list of all of the plants we plan to grow throughout the year. Weekly we produce a current availability list of plants available that week that we would call “retail ready”. If a plant you are interested in is listed on our master list and not on our weekly availability list, feel free to call about availability, it may have just been pruned or transplanted, not perfect for the sales lot at a garden center, but fine for a landscape project.
Ordering
We are glad to take your orders by e-mail or phone. Our preference would be by e-mail as we think it minimizes errors but we are always glad to take your order over the telephone. Orders are filled in the order they are received. We like to pull the best plants for every order. Selection and labeling take time, so please place your order as soon as possible in advance of expected delivery. In the height of the season the trucks fill up quickly. Our ordering cut- off time is twelve o’clock noon the day before the day of delivery. You are welcome to pick up at the nursery but if possible, calling in your order in advance will assure your order is filled with the best plant material available.
Pre-Orders
We are happy to work with you to schedule plants for upcoming seasons or to hold plants in inventory for up to 30 days before your scheduled job. A 25% deposit is required. We will be glad to work with you to develop pre-orders. This assures you of having the right number of the right color available on the right date for the job specs. At the scheduled time of delivery if you decide, for some reason, that you do not need or want to receive your order your deposit will be forfeited.
